Day 10 - Custer State Park, SD

This areas version of "South of the Border

and friendly burros looking for  a handout

We spent our second day in this area exploring Custer State Park an area full of wildlife and scenic vistas including the Needles. Our first bison sightings.It is a highlight of this area.  We also visited the Crazy Horse memorial a work still being blasted and carved from the granite mountain. We returned to The Triangle Ranch for a wonderful dinner of  featuring the ranch's own grilled steak, ramen noodle salad and a wonderful chocolate dessert.

Today, September 2,  we spend a full day driving to Billings, Montana on our way to Glacier National Park.
